Volunteer Registration for the 2012 Savannah Race for the Cure is OPEN!

We want to take this opportunity to invite you to join us as we work to make the 4^th Annual Susan G. Komen Savannah Race for the Cure a huge success.  The race will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2012.  

The energy is electrifying, and the feeling of community is strong.  There are many volunteer opportunities prior to the race as well as the week of the race.   Last year, there were over 5000 participants in the race and we utilized over 600 volunteers.  We anticipate that the 2012 race will be even bigger.  At this time, we have over 800 volunteer shifts available for this year’s race!  

Please use the “Volunteer for Race” tab on the right to register for one or more shifts.  If you are part of any of the following volunteer groups, please wait to hear from your supervior with information about volunteer registration as shifts may be reserved for you:
 

• Memorial Health
• Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA) Collegete and Alumni Chapters
• Georgia Air National Guard (GaARNG)
• Best Buy
• Sam's Club (Pooler Store #4820)
• Target
• South Effingham High School - JROTC
• Savannah Christian Cheerleaders
• Benedictine Military School 

If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer commitment, please e-mail us at 4komen@comcast.net as soon as you are aware of the conflict.  We also have the ability to help you change jobs or shifts as long as there is still availability in the job/shift to which you wish to change.
