Team Awards

The 2012 Susan G. Komen Savannah Race for the Cure® is all about TEAMS! Our Race teams can change history—the history of breast cancer—by helping the Komen Savannah Race for the Cure reach record-breaking levels of Race participation and fundraising. A Race for the Cure team is a group of 10 or more participants who join together for the Race season to have fun and raise funds to empower the breast cancer movement.

Team Awards

Recognizing the Overall Top Fundraising Team helps drive the friendly competition that makes each year better than the last! Numbers for awards are calculated for registrations and donations received by a specific date. Team members may continue to register and raise funds up until May 16, 2012. However, any registrations or funds collected after the cut-off date will not be considered for award calculation purposes.

Other Team Fundraising Awards

The highest fundraising team in each of the following catagories will receive 2 free entries to the 2013 race and a Top Team Certificate

  • Friends/Family
  • Healthcare
  • Non-profit/Community
  • Faith based organizations
  • Education/Schools
  • Government/Public Service
  • Small Corporation (under 100 employees)
  • Large Corporation (over 100 employees)

ALL TEAMS that raise over $1000 by April 15, 2011 will have access to the TEAMING UP FOR THE CURE VIP AREA on Race Day.
